This beautiful guest house with its charming whitewashed limestone walls is on the edge of a village near Carcassonne in the Aude Valley, between the Canal du Midi and Montagne noire (Black Mountain). Lots of sweetness in this old winemaker's house, Lots of delicate colors. A beautiful row of Gustavian-style lounges with large openings overlooks directly onto the park planted with Mediterranean essences. And whetherit is from the reception rooms, from the terraces, the bedrooms (those to the south), the infinity pool, everywhere the view of the Aude plain and the Pyrenees chain works its magic and invites you to relax.

After the departure of children, Monique and Paul-André have fully restored la Rougeanne with two bedrooms in the old cellars; spacious, with tall windows, they have been decorated with great care and have children's areas, ideal for traveling with family.The other two, "Acanthe" and "Jasmin", overlooking a small and flowery enclosed garden, were created more recently. More modern with their ivory and pearl gray colors, they have bathrooms open and a sitting area. Absolutely charming and perfect for a romantic getaways. The third room is at the first floor specially adapted for families with young children. Monique and Paul-André will be happy to welcome you in the southwest of France to the Bed and Breakfast la Rougeanne during your stay in Cathar country .
